Lt. Cmdr. Evans and Lt. Serena Wileman, both respected Naval Aviators, tragically died when their EA-18G Growler crashed during a training flight near Mount Rainier. Evans was known for her role in the all-female Super Bowl LVII flyover, while Wileman served with distinction in Electronic Attack Squadron 130. They had recently returned from a deployment in the Middle East. The cause of the crash is under investigation, and the Navy is honoring their service and supporting their families.
