Found a Tick? Here’s How to Safely Dispose of It
If you find a tick, remove it with fine-tipped tweezers, pulling straight out. To dispose of it safely, place it in rubbing alcohol, seal it in a plastic bag, or wrap it tightly in tape before throwing it away. Avoid crushing ticks with your fingers, and clean the bite area and your hands thoroughly.
