However, one of the biggest dangers in the sky comes from golden eagles, massive, deadly birds capable of surprising attacks.
A recent incident near Lake Issyk-Ku saw a golden eagle strike an 8-year-old girl who was in a restricted area. Though the bird wasn’t hunting, the girl only needed stitches after the attack. Golden eagles are capable of carrying goats over mountains, making them a serious threat to anything small.
