Woman Dies In Head-On Collision But When They Took Her Phone And Saw Her Facebook Page They Were Speechless

Police report that 32-year-old Courtney Sanford died in a head-on collision on a U.S. highway moments after posting on Facebook. At 8:33 a.m., she shared, “The happy song makes me so HAPPY,” and at 8:34 a.m., police were alerted to a crash. Sanford’s car had crossed the center line on Interstate 85 in North Carolina, hitting a recycling truck and catching fire.

Police later learned she had been taking selfies while driving, a tragic reminder of the dangers of distracted driving. The truck driver, John Thompson, 73, was unharmed.
