Seeing emaciated dogs in shelters is heartbreaking. Some still show love, while others cower in fear, bearing scars from their mistreatment. I can’t imagine causing harm to any animal; dogs seem to have a sixth sense about people’s intentions.
A dog named Edie was hours from being put down, severely neglected and terrified. Initially, she saw her rescuer as a threat, trembling and barking. But soon, a bond formed, and she realized he meant no harm. Watching her transformation is incredible.
