Report: New York Attorney General Letitia James Faces Scrutiny Over Family Members Living in Virginia Properties

New York Attorney General Letitia James is reportedly housing several relatives with criminal records at properties she owns in Virginia, according to the New York Post.
Among them is her 21-year-old grand-niece, Cayla Thompson-Hairston, who was charged in 2024 with giving false information while trying to buy a firearm. The charge was later dropped after her earlier malicious wounding case from 2020 was reduced to a misdemeanor.
Thompson-Hairston, who was a juvenile at the time of that case, remains active on social media and OnlyFans, often sharing explicit content and details about her life.
The revelations come as James faces federal scrutiny connected to those same Virginia properties.
