Young Girl Born Without a Nose Inspires Millions with Her Courage and Family’s Support

Tessa Evans from Maghera, Northern Ireland, was born on Valentine’s Day in 2013 with Bosma arhinia microphthalmia syndrome (BAMS) — an extremely rare condition that causes the absence of the nose and underdeveloped eyes.
Despite her challenges, Tessa’s courage and positivity have inspired people around the world. Her parents, Grainne and Nathan Evans, continue to raise awareness and advocate for better medical understanding of the condition.
