Taylor Swift’s fans, known as Swifties, are fiercely protective of her. In March, they were upset when private photos of Swift and boyfriend Travis Kelce were shared without permission during a quiet NYC date night.
On Wednesday, emotions rose again when the AMAs announced nominees. Swift, already the most awarded AMA artist (40 wins), earned six nominations, including Artist and Album of the Year for The Tortured Poets Department.
But fans were disappointed her Fortnight music video featuring Post Malone was snubbed. On social media, many called it a “masterpiece” and questioned why it was ignored.
