Captain Ian Farquhar, a close friend of the King, has died at the age of 78. A longtime companion of both King Charles and Queen Camilla, he was also the Queen Mother’s rider, a renowned horseman, and a former officer in the Queen’s Own Hussars. His death comes during a difficult time for the King, following his cancer diagnosis and the recent passing of Lord Jacob Rothschild.
