A routine Walmart trip turned frightening for Cheryl and Mel Johnson when Mel cut his hand on a razor blade embedded in a cart handle at the Windsor, Connecticut store. Staff immediately called police and inspected all carts, finding no others.
Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage to determine whether the blade was planted intentionally. Walmart says customer safety is a top priority and has increased cart inspections following the incident.
