Why Walmart’s Rotisserie Chicken Might Not Be the Bargain You Think It Is

Walmart’s $4.98 rotisserie chicken is convenient, but it’s smaller and less juicy than warehouse club options. At about 1 pound 13 ounces, it’s fine for one or two people, but Costco and Sam’s Club sell chickens around 3 pounds for nearly the same price, offering better value and flavor.

Costco’s chicken is legendary for juiciness and seasoning, while Sam’s fans even prefer its flavor over Costco’s. Walmart’s version works in a pinch, but for families or leftovers, the larger birds are a smarter buy.
