Avery Koonce, 19, a U.S. Air Force Academy cadet from Tyler, Texas, was found dead in her Colorado dorm on September 4. An autopsy showed she died from complications of pneumonia, which experts say might have been treatable.
The report noted she had a worsening cough before her death. The Academy and her family have not commented.
