Jerry Adler, best known as Hesh Rabkin on The Sopranos, has died at 96. Born in Brooklyn in 1929, he built a long Broadway career before turning to acting in his 60s, later earning acclaim in The Sopranos, The Good Wife, and other TV and film roles. Adler never stopped performing, returning often to the stage throughout his life.
