Country legend Garth Brooks is now the majority owner of the Tulsa Oilers, making him Oklahoma’s first celebrity team owner. His plans include “Garth Night” concerts, a mascot named Billy the Puck, and even renaming the penalty box The Low Places Lounge. Brooks promised to bring his trademark energy to the ice when the rebranded Oilers hit the rink this October.
