Oaxacan nurse donates her organs and saves lives!

Rosaura García Moreno, a 20-year-old nursing student from Tuxtepec, Oaxaca, died after a severe car accident—but her final act saved multiple lives. Declared brain dead, her parents honored her passion for helping others by donating her organs. Her kidneys and corneas went to patients in Veracruz, and her liver to a patient in Mexico City, giving hope and health to those in need. The IMSS praised her family’s courage, noting that one donor can save up to eight lives. Rosaura will be remembered as a hero whose compassion lives on through the people she helped.
