Country legend Jeannie Seely has died at 85 due to complications from an intestinal infection. She passed on August 1 at Summit Medical Center in Tennessee. Seely had faced major health struggles in 2025, including back and abdominal surgeries, pneumonia, and ICU stays. Her passing comes months after losing her husband, Eugene Ward, to cancer.
