Pope Leo Xiv’s Salary Revealed — Here’s What The New Pontiff Will Earn

Pope Leo XIV, formerly Cardinal Robert Prevost, does not receive a traditional salary. While reports suggest he could be entitled to a symbolic €2,500 per month, he is expected to follow in the footsteps of his predecessor, Pope Francis, by declining this stipend. Instead, the Vatican covers all his expenses, including housing, meals, healthcare, and travel. Additionally, he has access to a private pharmacy and a fleet of vehicles. Upon retirement, he would receive a €2,500 monthly pension, with all living expenses provided by the Vatican.
