After more than 35 years, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos say goodbye to the live studio

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have officially said goodbye to the iconic ‘Live’ studio at 7 Lincoln Square, marking the end of an era for the daytime talk show. The couple, who have co-hosted the program since 2001 and 2017 respectively, shared heartfelt memories from the studio that has been their home for 37 years. Ripa reflected on how the space supported her as a working mother, while Consuelos recalled their romantic journey, including their meeting on the show in 1996 and subsequent marriage. Their children also grew up visiting the studio, making it a significant part of their family’s history.
The show will continue its broadcasts from a new state-of-the-art facility at 7 Hudson Square, the Walt Disney Company’s new NYC headquarters. The move is part of a broader relocation of ABC shows to the downtown Disney facility. Despite the change in scenery, Ripa and Consuelos plan to bring meaningful memorabilia to the new studio to maintain a sense of continuity and legacy
