The pain was so intense that despite painkillers, he felt as if he were slipping into another world, wondering if he was facing death. Fortunately, it was just a side effect of the medication, and after a smooth recovery, Sajak is back on Wheel of Fortune. He jokingly teased that co-host Vanna White might try to steal his job, but for now, he’s back at the helm.
