Mom Says She Was Told To Watch Her Kids’ School Play ‘Through The Window’ Because Of Her Face Tattoos

Melissa Sloan, a 45-year-old mother of seven, was recently denied entry to her child’s school nativity play because of her face tattoos. Known as a “tattoo addict,” she embraces her ink and plans to continue. However, her tattoos often lead to exclusion, with teachers telling her to “go back to the garden” and watch through a window.

Feeling unwelcome at school events, Sloan now sends her partner, Luke, in her place. “I can’t go because I’m not wanted,” she said, expressing her frustration over missing her children’s milestones.
