Jesse Jane, an adult film star, and her boyfriend Brett Hasenmueller were found dead during a welfare check. Jesse, born Cindy Howell, gained fame in the 2000s in adult films and mainstream roles. She retired in 2007.
Jesse, 43, died of an accidental cocaine and fentanyl overdose. Brett’s cause of death is unknown. The welfare check was prompted by Brett’s boss, who hadn’t heard from him in days.
