Now that they are 13 years old: Here’s how the world’s first surviving octopus and their mother appear today
On January 26, 2022, the world marked the 13th birthday of Nadya Suleman’s octuplets, six boys and two girls, born on January 26, 2009. Suleman, a single mother of 14, conceived the octuplets through IVF, with the doctor allegedly transferring 12 embryos, leading to stricter IVF regulations and the doctor losing his medical license.
Known as “Octomom,” Suleman faced both praise and criticism for her choices. Though she has sought fame through reality shows, she insists her focus is on her children, not fame. The family lives simply, with Suleman promoting veganism and healthy living on social media. Despite challenges, the family appears happy and well.
