A photo of a strange “egg” hanging from a ceiling went viral, sparking fear and confusion online. The woman who shared the image asked for help identifying it, with many speculating it was a spider egg sac, prompting concerns of an infestation. Some suggested it could even be a dinosaur egg.
After numerous comments, including advice to vacuum it up or spray it with insecticide, the mystery was solved by the woman’s father-in-law. It turned out to be simply expanding foam from the roof, not an egg or a nest.
