The Young Heroes: 12 Kids and a Dog Recognized for Their Crime-Busting Deeds
A group of kids, nicknamed the “Tremendous Twelve,” helped police catch robbers by forming a human arrow to guide a police helicopter. With their faithful dog Molly, a Yorkshire terrier, the children spotted the helicopter while on an Easter egg hunt in a field near Capel, Surrey.
One of the kids, a nine-year-old, recalled seeing a man running along the field’s edge and tried to shout directions to the pilot, who couldn’t hear them. That’s when two friends suggested forming an arrow shape on the ground. After a minute, the helicopter followed their lead, successfully tracking the suspects.
