Tourists Stunned by What They Saw!
Tourists on the Romanian coast were shocked when a wounded dolphin washed ashore. Despite efforts to save it, the dolphin, identified as a Delphinus delphis species, succumbed to its injuries. Experts believe the wounds were caused by fishing nets.
The Black Sea is home to three dolphin species: the common dolphin, bottlenose dolphin, and harbor porpoise. Each species prefers different habitats, with the common dolphin typically found in offshore waters. These dolphins are known for their speed, reaching up to 50 km/h, and their diet of small fish and crustaceans.
Sadly, the common dolphin, which can live up to 30 years, is highly sensitive to pollution.
