My oldest brother served nearly 24 years in the Army, with three deployments to Iraq. He formed strong bonds, especially with his friend Gary. Tragically, when my brother couldn’t accompany Gary on a supply run, Gary didn’t return. This loss deeply affected my brother, who visits Gary’s grave regularly and teaches his children to respect fallen soldiers.
