After Pulling a String in an Attic, A man revealed a mystery that had been hidden for nearly 70 years

Over the years, numerous hidden treasure stories have surfaced. One man, Schlattner, returned to his childhood home to search for family property his father had hidden before they left the country. Although unsure if anything remained after seventy years, he discovered seventy well-preserved packages in the attic, concealed behind a wooden panel.

Inside, he found a treasure trove of historical items: newspapers, paintings, skis, school desks, and unopened cigarettes, all in excellent condition. These artifacts are now displayed in a museum in Ústí nad Labem, Czech Republic, marking a rare find of “German property” in the area.
